Nomination Form for Inductees

Criteria for Nominees:

  • Must be a “First” in the area of Minority Business Development, with a record of outstanding accomplishments in that “First” category. I.E. First Director of MBDA, etc.
  • Must have had (or have) a major impact on the direction and development of M/WBE’s in America through leadership and action in the public or private sector.
  • Must have been or be a person or institution who set an example of leadership in the Minority Business Development field that all can follow and build on in the future.
  • Nominees must meet at least one of the above criteria for consideration for the Minority Business Hall of Fame by the selection committee. Nominations must be limited to 1500 words and are due no later than October 15th, 2005. Attachments to support nomination(s) must be sent under separate cover to the Minority Business Hall of Fame c/o Minority Business News USA at 11333 North Central Expressway, Suite 201, Dallas, TX 75243.

The purpose of the Minority Business Hall of Fame and Museum is to preserve, recognize and educate society on the contribution of individuals that have assisted in the development and growth of Minority Businesses nationally and globally.

The Minority Business Hall of Fame and Museum is located in Texas and New York. The selection of individuals for the Hall of Fame is done by a Nominating Committee headed by Mr. Robinson and Mr. McKneely. Individuals will be inducted into the Minority Business Hall of Fame and Museum once a year at a special event either in New York or Dallas, Texas.
